Who We Are

Charity Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church, located in Blountville Tennessee. Our purpose and mission is to bring glory, honor, and praise to God the Father and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. This is accomplished by gathering together as a body of believers to preach, teach, exhort, and fellowship in Christ as commanded by God in his Word, the Holy Bible.

Our church has a diversity of people from all walks of life and age ranges. We are a growing church with many opportunities to labor in Christ. Our name is "Charity", and charity is what we wish to portray in the spirit and atmosphere of our congregation. God's word tells us that one of the greatest attributes of a Christian is charity (love) because Christ himself was the personification of the very love of God.

As a church being the children of the one true God we understand the many trials and problems with every day life and are ready to serve and help our community in all that we can, by spreading the good news of the gospel of Christ and being the very reflection of the light and love God.
